Virgil

Virgil, born Publius Vergilius Maro, was an ancient Roman poet of the Augustan period, celebrated for his epic poem the Aeneid, which tells the story of Rome's mythical origins. His other major works, the Eclogues and Georgics, also profoundly influenced Western literature, establishing him as one of the most significant figures in classical poetry.
