Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), now often called Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs), are objects or phenomena observed in the sky that cannot be immediately identified or explained. While popular culture often links them to alien spacecraft, most sightings are eventually identified as known objects, natural phenomena, or human-made devices after investigation. A small percentage, however, remain unexplained.
