Unicode Subscripts and Superscripts

Unicode includes subscript and superscript versions of many characters, allowing chemical formulas, mathematical expressions, and phonetic transcriptions to be written in plain text without markup. These characters are scattered across multiple Unicode blocks and serve both semantic and stylistic purposes.
