The Tunisia Campaign

The Tunisia Campaign was a pivotal series of battles during World War II, fought in Tunisia from November 1942 to May 1943. It saw Allied forces, including British, American, and French troops, decisively defeat Axis forces, trapping and capturing over a quarter-million German and Italian soldiers and ending the North African Campaign. This victory secured Allied control of North Africa and opened the Mediterranean for future operations.
