Trajan

Trajan was a Roman emperor from 98 to 117 AD, renowned as a successful soldier-emperor and a philanthropic ruler. Under his leadership, the Roman Empire reached its greatest territorial extent, and he was honored by the Senate with the title "optimus princeps," meaning "the best ruler."
