Ted Turner: The Maverick Who Created CNN and Changed Media Forever
Ted Turner was an American media mogul who founded CNN, the world's first 24-hour cable news channel, and built a broadcasting empire that included TBS, TNT, and Cartoon Network. Known as "The Mouth of the South" for his blunt style, he also owned the Atlanta Braves, created the Goodwill Games, and gave $1 billion to the United Nations. His willingness to bet big on ideas others called crazy reshaped television, sports, and philanthropy.
