Subbarama Dikshitar (1839–1906) was a pivotal Carnatic music composer and musicologist, best known for his monumental work, the *Sangita Sampradaya Pradarshini*. As the grandson and adopted son of Baluswami Dikshitar, he meticulously documented the compositions of his grand-uncle Muthuswami Dikshitar, thereby preserving a significant portion of Carnatic musical heritage for future generations.
