Sagittarius A*

Sagittarius A* (Sgr A*) is the supermassive black hole located at the very center of our Milky Way galaxy. It's an incredibly dense object with a mass equivalent to over four million Suns, whose immense gravity influences everything around it. Though we can't see the black hole itself, scientists have captured an image of the glowing gas swirling just outside its event horizon.
