Quantum Gravity

Quantum gravity is a field of theoretical physics that aims to combine <a href="/article/general-relativity">Albert Einstein</a>'s theory of <a href="/article/general-relativity">General Relativity</a>, which describes gravity on large scales, with <a href="/article/quantum-mechanics">Quantum Mechanics</a>, which describes the universe at its smallest scales. It seeks to understand how gravity behaves in extreme environments, such as inside <a href="/article/black-holes">black holes</a> or during the <a href="/article/big-bang">Big Bang</a>. This unification is one of the biggest unsolved puzzles in modern physics.
