Poseidon

Poseidon is one of the most powerful and well-known gods in ancient Greek mythology, ruling over the sea, storms, earthquakes, and horses. He was a temperamental deity, capable of both immense destruction and vital protection, and was widely worshipped by the maritime civilization of ancient Greece. His Roman equivalent is Neptune.
