Physicalism

Physicalism is a philosophical view asserting that everything in the universe is fundamentally physical, meaning there is nothing "over and above" what physics describes. It proposes that all phenomena, including consciousness and mental states, ultimately depend on or are constituted by physical processes and properties. This perspective is a form of ontological monism, suggesting a single underlying reality.
