Mycenaean Civilization: The First Greeks

The Mycenaean civilization was the last and most advanced phase of the Bronze Age in ancient Greece (c. 1750–1050 BC). It was the first distinctly Greek culture, known for its powerful palace-states, monumental architecture, warrior elite, and the Linear B writing system, which records the earliest form of the Greek language.
