The Molotov Plan

The Molotov Plan was the Soviet Union's system of economic aid and trade agreements designed to help rebuild and integrate the economies of its allied countries in Central and Eastern Europe after <a href="/article/world-war-ii">World War II</a>. It served as the Soviet counterpart to the American <a href="/article/marshall-plan">Marshall Plan</a>, aiming to solidify Soviet political and economic influence in the region and prevent Western penetration.
