Max Born

Max Born was a German-British theoretical physicist who played a crucial role in developing quantum mechanics, especially with his statistical interpretation of the wavefunction, for which he received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1954. He also made significant contributions to solid-state physics and optics, and mentored many influential scientists.
