Mark W. Clark

Mark W. Clark was a distinguished American Army officer who served in World War I, World War II, and the Korean War. He is best known for commanding the U.S. Fifth Army during the Italian Campaign in World War II, where his forces captured Rome, and for signing the Korean Armistice Agreement. Clark was also the youngest four-star general in the U.S. Army during World War II.
