Karl Weierstrass

Karl Weierstrass was a German mathematician known as the "father of modern analysis." He brought unprecedented rigor to <a href="/article/calculus">calculus</a>, formalizing concepts like continuity and uniform convergence, and his work laid the foundation for much of modern mathematics. Despite a challenging start to his academic career, he became a highly influential professor and mentor.
