Hantaan Virus

Hantaan virus is a tiny germ primarily found in East Asia that causes a serious illness called Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome (HFRS) in humans. It's spread mainly by striped field mice through their droppings, urine, and saliva, and people can get infected by breathing in contaminated air or through bites. The virus attacks the kidneys and other organs, leading to symptoms like fever, headache, and severe kidney problems.
