Erwin Rommel

Erwin Rommel was a German field marshal during World War II, renowned for his leadership of the Afrika Korps and his tactical brilliance, earning him the nickname "The Desert Fox." A highly decorated officer from World War I, he later commanded forces opposing the Allied invasion of Normandy. Implicated in a plot against Hitler, he was forced to commit suicide in 1944.
