Diocletian

Diocletian was a Roman emperor who reigned from 284 to 305 CE. He is famous for ending the "Crisis of the Third Century" and establishing the Tetrarchy, a system of rule by four emperors, to stabilize the vast Roman Empire. His comprehensive reforms in administration, military, and economy fundamentally reshaped the empire, even though some of his policies, like the persecution of Christians, ultimately failed.
