Containment Policy

Containment was a United States foreign policy strategy during the Cold War aimed at preventing the spread of communism beyond its existing borders. It sought to limit Soviet influence through economic aid, military alliances, and proxy conflicts, without directly engaging in large-scale war with the Soviet Union.
