Charles Péguy

Charles Péguy was a French poet, essayist, and editor known for his complex blend of socialist, nationalist, and Catholic thought. A prominent intellectual of his time, he founded and edited the influential literary magazine *Les Cahiers de la Quinzaine* and was killed in action during the early days of World War I.
