Apex, also known as Niaqunngut in Inuktitut, is a small community located on Baffin Island in Nunavut, Canada, about 5 km southeast of Iqaluit. The community has a rich history dating back to 1949 and is home to around 60 families, with amenities such as a women's shelter, church, school, and bed-and-breakfast. Despite being part of the City of Iqaluit, Apex residents have a distinct identity and have sought separate territorial representation.
